Eyes the colour of the sky and dark chocolate smudges on his cheeks...

A morning at the beach, an afternoon playing in the backyard, giggling as I tickled him, and snacking on Loving Earth dark chocolate with Mummy.

Last week I loved Penny's joy at her wiggly caterpillar friend / the sweetness and colour over at Sass and Spice / and the beautiful breastfeeding photo over at A familia dos Tartarouchos.

Being of light... my little sunset dreamer... 

I have become captivated by beach silhouettes, and the 52 Project gives me the chance to work on capturing my favourite beach subject... Anaru.

Last week I loved the splashing toes and gnawing teeth at Megpie / the unbridled delight of running through the sprinkler at McLendon McBlog / and the sweet milky snuggling over at Good Morning Clementine.

Late afternoon at the beach, low tide... the Winter sun caught in his hair and formed a golden halo... 

 

This is my favourite portrait of Anaru so far. I really love how the 52 Project has developed my perspective when taking photos of Anaru, and helped me to think beyond the more standard forms of portraiture.

Last week I loved the beautiful tones in Mischief, Magic & Mayhem's photos / had my breath taken by silhouettes and a sweet sleeping face at Hello Sisilia / and admired the black and white magic of Piper and Poppies beautiful captures.
